A Retrospective of the Solo Works of The Beatles
What did John, Paul, George and Ringo do after 1970?
Matthew Friedman, the “Piano Man” for the National Touring Company of Billy Joel and Twyla Tharp’s Tony-award winning musical, Movin’ Out for more than three years, presents the third in a series of concerts at Symphony Space.
Accompanied by his trusty “Best Band In the World” (Dave Anthony - Drums; Steve Gibb - Guitars; Owen Yost - Bass Guitar; Gillian Berkowitz - synthesizer; Daniel Friedman, Evan Friedman and Lauren Sambataro - backing vocals), Matthew will be exploring the great music that the Fab Four of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr produced after the Beatles came to an end in 1970.
This two-hour concert event is being co-produced by unWINEd Wine Bar and Lounge, located in the same building as the theater… a great place to enjoy some pre- and post-show food, drinks and conversation.
Join the band after the performance in unWINEd Wine Bar and Lounge, next to the theater, for autographs, cocktails and food.

Joy of Sake
The Joy of Sake is the largest sake-tasting outside Japan, and
has been held annually since 2001. It features premium sakes
submitted as entries to the U.S. National Sake Appraisal, a rigorous blind tasting held every year with ten judges from Japan and the U.S.
This year the New York event moves to an upgraded venue at
Webster Hall. The daiginjo, ginjo and junmai tasting tables will be
positioned throughout the club’s three floors, with lounges on the
top two floors for added room.
Over 270 sakes will be available for tasting, along with appetizers
presented by 15 of New York’s finest restaurants. It’s hard to imagine a more dynamic venue for a tasting of the world’s best sakes, including award winners from the 2009 Appraisal.
